Somewhere in the earth, a farmer worked continuously by taking proper care about his land and using his cows or tractor to made the proper land to be harvested. Then, he bought the proper seeds based on the season/climate, also based on the expectations of rain and then with the help of people, he sow the seeds in to the land, then it grows as grass, then he will wait for the right time to reap the grass to make in the form of rice. He needs to take care the whole process from the empty land to something eatables which will take approximately 4 months. Its all about the story of rice.
The same story repeats for onion, tomatoes, chillies and vegetables. Apart from Vegetables, there are ingredients like salt, oils, curry powders and small items like pepper, cardamom, etc. Its all about making the items,
But to reach you these items from different places, there are lot of people are working in transporting the items to reach the shop near you live. From the different farming land to storage places, then to storage places of the shops and then finally the shops near you. A plethora of people working who as an agents, truck drivers, shop owners and its employee, etc etc.
All the above items and the process are required to make and eat my food. So without knowing, those many people are working to make the items which you will have it in your plate.
So, next time when you see your food in your plate, there are more than 50 people’s effort is lying there in front of you. So respect your food, thank them and enjoy your meal.
Of course, you are the one earning and buying those food but don’t waste the effort behind those one plate of food. Do not ever think to waste your food. You are not only wasting the food or wasting your money but you are wasting the 50 people efforts and their energy.
Its not just a plate of food but the effort of people which is lying in your plate. Enjoy the meal, thank the god and thank the people who relentlessly working to make that happen!
With Love,
Purush
